Florida Spirit Vacation attended the 2008 Florida Vacation Rentals Managers Associations 2008 Convention this week. The 2008 convention was held at the beautiful Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee Florida. Leading vacation rental management companies from Key West, Naples, Destin, Captiva and Central Florida were in attendance. Industry experts spoke on topics ranging from evaluating vacation rentals, social media and internet based reputation to housekeeping.

On the second day of the convention Florida Spirits President and FVRMA board member Brian Brannigan spoke to attendees at one of the “ask the experts” round table sessions where attendees could ask questions relating to the vacation rental industry.

With the rapid growth of the vacation rental industry nationwide as well as in the State of Florida, bringing industry leaders together to meet and speak about continuously improving services to consumers was very exciting. FVRMA launched a consumer website to help potential rental guest find quality vacation rental companies to stay with.
