Wet n’ Wild keeps riders guessing

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

blackhole.jpgIn an attempt to stir things up Wet ‘n Wild has added new features to the newly revamped Black Hole: The Next Generation water ride. The Black Hole always had twist and turns, but now it returns with “color explosions and sounds that will shock the sense.” The ride is a 500-foot drop that boasts a number of surprises for its thrill seekers. Along the way riders may encounter strobes, lasers, a shimmering water wall and sudden changes in temperature before splashing down.

The exciting part of the ride is not just going down the twist and turns of the tubes one time but going down many times after, even after returning immediately to the top riders are not likely to see the same sequence of strobes and lasers. The special effects occur in random sequence tempting riders to go back again and again to see what happens next. Many theme parks are adding new rides, new feature even adding on an entire new section. Wet n’ Wild is focusing on its repeat visitor, getting them to come back again and again and with new technology they are able to do that by adding new feature to your favorite rides.

How to Save Money with an Orlando Vacation Rental

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Everyone needs a vacation every once in a while, and your family is probably no different. But let’s face it – with gas prices at sky-high levels and already-high hotel rates on the rise, it’s getting harder and harder to take an affordable vacation that won’t break the bank.

When it comes to containing costs, it’s always better to rent out a vacation home than make hotel reservations for your entire family, only to stay amidst the maddening crowd of other vacation seekers.

If you’re planning a trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, then renting a vacation home is probably your best option – especially if you’re looking to save some money.

Cost and Space Issues

If you have a large family (4+ people), then you probably find it difficult to go on vacation due to hotel costs alone.

It is hard, if not impossible, to find a hotel that can accommodate every member of your family in less than 2 separate rooms. That makes planning a family vacation a logistical nightmare – and an expensive proposition.

You can rent an Orlando vacation home for less than the cost of 2 hotel rooms – which means that you will be able to spend your hard-earned money on other things, such as visiting an extra theme park or a special dinner out.

In addition, Disney area vacation rentals are a lot more spacious than hotel rooms – there is space to stretch out and relax, cook, play and just spend more quality time together.

Money-Saving Amenities

When you choose to stay in an Orlando vacation home, you’ll save money in other ways as well. Depending on the home that you choose, you’ll benefit from having any extras right on site.

Many vacation homes have their own private pool and Jacuzzi. They also have video games such as Playstation and Xbox. Going out to the arcades in Orlando can be fun, but the cost does add up.

Be smart and save money where you can.

Orlando Vacation Rentals – Helping You Save Money

Vacation rentals in Orlando are all about affordability. You are obviously going to save a lot of money by cooking or barbequing yourself. On a typical 1 week family vacation, restaurant costs typically account for nearly 50% of total expenses. That’s a lot of money!

By cooking in just half the time, you’ll have extra money to spend on little splurges, such as trinkets and souvenirs, or even a short side trip to the Kennedy Space Center or Busch Gardens.
Just because the economy isn’t the best doesn’t mean that you can’t take your family on an affordable vacation. Rent an Orlando vacation home, surprise your family by giving them the time of their lives, and save some money in the bargain!

Beat Disney Vacation Stress with an Orlando Vacation Home

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

It doesn’t matter whether you have 10 kids or just one – after a long day at Disney World, everyone is exhausted – especially Mom and Dad.

If your family vacation is just for a couple of days or so, there’s probably no harm in renting a regular hotel room. However, if you intend to spend at least a week in Orlando, renting a vacation home is probably the best thing that you could do for your family – and yourself.

Orlando Vacation Rentals – The Sensible Alternative

Family vacations were meant to be relaxing. Vacation time is so rare that when you are able to take advantage of it, you want to be able to make the most of your time together.

Renting a Disney area vacation home is an experience in and of itself. The whole family will be able to stretch out and relax after a long day at the theme parks. Instead of going out to eat, you can cook a quick meal in the kitchen or have the whole family pitch in and barbeque.

Most importantly, each family member will have their own room. That means parents can relax and enjoy having their privacy and spending some quiet time together.

It’s what being on vacation is all about.

Your Home Away From Home

Orlando vacation rentals come in all types, from townhomes to single-family homes to condominiums. They can accommodate families of all sizes. If you have a particularly large family, or plan to vacation with friends, you’ll definitely appreciate the large amount of space that a vacation home has to offer.

Orlando vacation homes offer something for everyone; screened-in pools for the water babies of the group; fully-equipped games rooms with Xbox and Playstation for older kids and teens and pool tables and high-speed Internet access for adults.

If you want to splurge and go all-out, there are also homes available for rent right on the golf course.

These are amenities that no cramped hotel room can offer.

Disney Area Vacation Homes – Helping Parents Beat The Stress

Imagine – no more wondering what the kids are doing. No more piling on top of one another in one or two hotel rooms. No more ‘having’ to eat out every night.

While the kids are enjoying themselves playing in the pool or in the games room, parents can simply relax with a movie in the living room or just enjoy being together on vacation.

So, if you are planning a family vacation to Orlando, Florida, “the Sunshine State”, and want to have a stress-free experience, try renting a vacation home instead of a hotel room. The only thing you’ll have to do is relax, knowing that you’re going to have the most wonderful time with your family and create memories that they will cherish forever.
