Most, if not all of our Orlando Vacation home renters visit our area to go to Walt Disney World. Well what is there to do when it is raining outside?

Here are a few suggestions:
1.)  Wonder Works Comedy Magic Dinner Show:

Wonder Works is an “upside down attraction”.  At night they provide an improv comedy and magic routine that is family friendly.  The menu is a highly sophisticated offering of all you can eat pizza, salad, popcorn and dessert with a side of beer and soda. Reservations recommended to guarantee Seating!

2.) Orlando Science Center:

This is an excellent vacation day for kids and one of the few cheap things to do in Orlando.  As of February 2010: Amazon (Feb. 20), Frogs- Beyond Green, SkyWatch and many more.

3.) Titanic The Experience :

This unique Titanic museum offers an amazing opportunity to tour a replica, with actors dressed in period costumes working as tour guides to enhance the experience. Take the adventure back in time!

 

 

4.)  Medieval Times :

Spend you evening being taken back into the 11th century with the No. 1  Dinner attaction and Tournament show in North America. The unique combination of medieval banquet and thrilling competition between Knights captures the imaginations of all ages.

Space Shuttle Endeavour, STS-130, is off to space to deliver the final connecting node along with a robotic control station to provide a 360-degree view around the International Space Station. Launch time and date are subject to change.

I have to admit this match-up didn’t turn out the way I wanted it! My Cardinals not only choked out last minute but also lost their main man just a week ago. I have faith for next year!

Still bound to be a great game New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts right here in our back yard of south Florida 6 PM EST.  Kick  back and enjoy your heated Jacuzzi in your Orlando vacation home. Good Luck boys!

Florida State Fair Grounds, Tampa
The Florida State Fair features the best arts, crafts, livestock, entertainment and food found in the Sunshine State and is a salute to the best in the agriculture and equestrian industry. More than 200 rides, games and attractions are spread over the 319-acre site in Tampa, just a short drive from Kissimmee.
Gates open daily at 9 a.m. and closing times vary by the day of the week and influencing weather conditions.  Weekday general admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-11 and younger. Weekend general admission is $12 for adults, $6 for children 6-11. Parking is FREE.

As you are making preparations to come visit us here in your Orlando Vacation home, we would like to remind you to please NOT rely on your GPS to get you here. Many of our neighborhoods are still in newer areas and have NOT been included in the updates of most brand name global positioning devices. In addition many of the same street names have been inherited from both Tampa & Miami. Please make sure to go to Google Maps and print out your directions the “old fashioned and most reliable way!”
