SeaWorld AfterDark!

This summer SeaWorld is hosting SeaWorld AfterDark. With regular park admission, guests will have the opportunity to stay at the park and access all the attractions, as well as new shows and a fireworks display. The highlights include Shamu Rocks, which debuted last summer, Sea Lions Tonite, a new comedy show, and Reflections fireworks spectacular. Guests will also be able to get up close and personal with SeaWorld’s marine life.

Be sure to check SeaWorld’s website for ticket promotions. Typically for slightly more than the cost of admission you can purchase a dual-park ticket for SeaWorld and Aquatica or Busch Gardens.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular

seaworldspook.JPGHalloween meets the sea during SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular. Beginning October an underwater FantaSea comes alive as youngsters trick-or-treat among friendly sea witches, octopuses, mermaids, pumpkin fish and more. Only at SeaWorld can you dress up in your favorite costume and play with sea fairies, learn from a “school” of fish or dance with an ice witch. The Spooktacular event takes place each Saturday and Sunday in October, also on the October 24th and Halloween night. The event begins each day at 11 a.m. and is included in the park admission.

Spooktacular highlights include Trick-or-Treat Sweets, armed with a special map kids can visit 15 different treasure stations throughout the park, each featuring treats galore. Frozen Fun Zone a fun-filled “Spooktacular” celebration with ice witch, roller skating break dancers and a live DJ host interactive games and activities. Strolling Entertainment – Fun loving sea witches Gummy Worm Wanda, Salt Water Taffy, and Swedish Fish Suzy, along with 35 other fanciful sea creatures, greet, mingle and play with guests making their way through the park. And don’t miss Sesame Street’s countdown to Halloween Live Musical Stage Show, featuring Count Von Count, Elmo and his new friends too. Also showing only during SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is the “Shamu Rocks” show, a rock n’ roll concert starring SeaWorld’s Killer whales.

Well, this summer get out of the sun and stay late at SeaWorld for SeaWorld’s after dark rock ‘n’ roll extravaganza! There are shows that are just as exciting as if it were the middle of the day but even better. Shows such as Shamu Rocks that offers live music from the rock ‘n’ roll band in the background and spectacular visual effects. You can enjoy great food at the Shamu Rocks dinner buffet, where you enjoy poolside seating in the outdoor dining pavilion, then get escorted to reserved seats at Shamu Stadium for the exciting show. Bayside Ski Jam is an all new nighttime show located in Bayside Stadium, described as a “concert where the performers are skiers and the water is the stage.” Take in the performance of fast-moving wave runners pulling stunt kites and performing maneuvers as fireworks light up the sky in the background. The Mistify show that is inspired by the majesty of the sea immerses guest into an underwater adventure with amazing special effects. Don’t forget the sea lions, you will laugh out loud as the talented sea lions, otters and walrus parody other SeaWorld shows.

If you are looking for other dining you can also enjoy the Rockin’ dinner deal, where you enjoy great food, a good time, fun and entertainment. For a taste of the Pacific Islands visit Makahiki Luau dinner and show, you will see authentic costumes, hear rhythmic music and enjoy authentic cuisine. If you are 21 or older you can opt for the SeaWorld Night Adventure tour which is a 5 hour tour, take advantage of front of the line access to Kraken and Journey to Atlantis. You also receive reserved seating at two shows and a visit to the Brewmaster’s club to sample Anheuser-Busch beers. The tour is for the older crowd but everyone can enjoy the amazing shows.
